this whole week tbh has just been surrounded by great people

hello po nay,

i feel like i don't have anything in particular to report on but also like i have a lot to say and also very little amount of time to do it. just the weekly routine tho. 

so for the scrollers out there ill share a funny experince. in a lesson my pants kept getting caught on the nail in the bamboo bench and so i stood and said "my pants got pregnant!" instead of "my pants got a hole!". foreigner problems. the word for hole is: butas, and pregnant is: buntis. classic

also this week i was able to work with President Hiatt and the companion of one of our district leaders, elder Poulson. it's been a very english week. i love working with president because he is just so plain, blunt, bold, caring and dedicated. Him and his wife when there off and around doing mission president things talk to litterly 100 people. idk how but they love missionary work. he is a very unique and inspiring individual who expects alot from us which feels good. this mission has changed alot because of him and i love it. with Elder Poulson we had a good time bonding and he is also an amazing elder. just humble, woking well, obedient and just taking things one step at a time. this whole week tbh has just been surrounded by great people including some great investigators and members who work with us. 

there's a member named brother Ordonio who is like a 50 yo man with a big build and the kindest personality. he has a sweet tricy and takes us to the farthest areas. his wife and him split and she's now in toronto but he is always hanging out with like kids and it's sooo cool to see him just be the truest friend to all no matter the age. he's lonely but decides not to be. one day i was helping him download some LDS music stuff on his tablet while running around to apointments and i hated it. just beacuse my head was down and i was staring at a screen while the world was moving around me unnoticed. not excited to go home btw. 

another cool person is an investigator named Edwin who makes the best street food with this sauce only he has and he sells us cookie for original price instead or sales price :) anyway teaching him is unique bc he just wants to know so bad and is confused in our lessons on what to believe. it's awesome bc he is really pondering and seeking but ive never felt a stronger assurance of just paitence with him so we give him small dosages. hes struggling a bit with real intent.
